As part of their commitment to excellence, they are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join the team.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, particularly with a focus on Google Workspace. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, resolving IT-related issues, and implementing efficient solutions to enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the financial services industry and possess expertise in managing Google Workspace environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience working in IT support roles within the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Google Workspace Certification or CompTIA A+ are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage and troubleshoot Google Workspace applications, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Meet.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of user accounts, permissions, and security settings within Google Workspace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that align with business objectives.
- Monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IT processes and procedures.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve IT infrastructure.
