IT Support Specialist – Front Range
Alpine Lumber is a 100% employee owned company looking to add an IT Support Specialist to our Information Technology team. The main responsibility of the IT Support Specialist is to provide technical support to fellow employee owners at Alpine Lumber via phone, remote control software and/or hands on deskside support. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, outgoing, friendly and polite. You should be a self-learner but also be able to collaborate with your team and fellow employee owners. The Ideal candidate will have some previous professional technical experience. This position will be required to have comfort with ERP systems, Microsoft, software, computers, printers, email, networking, smart phones, and basic technical troubleshooting skills.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills: prompt, courteous, clear communication, desire to follow up
  • Strong knowledge of Computers and Networking – install, maintenance, support and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Laptop, PC, Printer, Smartphone, Tablet, VOIP Phone, network hardware
  • Team player, ability to take direction, collaborate and follow standards set forth
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently, eye for continual service improvements
  • Based in our Corporate Office (please note this is an on-site position) with the ability to travel to our yards and facilities on the Front Range and Mountain areas in Colorado and New Mexico. Good transportation is necessary. Travel 25%
  • ERP/Falcon/Catalyst/BisTrack Experience a huge plus
  • College Degree is preferred, Professional Experience and/or Technical Certifications can be substituted for a degree
  • Other duties as assigned
