Adelaide 5000 (Full-time, 1.0 FTE)
Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join a dedicated in-house IT team providing level 1 and 2 support for a range of hardware, operating systems, and software platforms.

Responsibilities:

IT Business Services provides technology enablement for Centacare and related entities.
The IT Support Specialist provides Level 1 and 2 Support for a broad range of hardware, operating systems, and software platforms.

The following key responsibilities will ensure you contribute to the team meeting its objectives:

  • Answer incoming calls, raising tickets on behalf of users, where necessary.
  • Action support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring effective problem resolution.
  • Image, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, phones, MFDs, and other IT equipment.
  • Provide technical support to end users, both remotely and in-person, to resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with user account management, including user provisioning, access rights, and password resets.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripherals.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting, diagnose connectivity issues, and assist with network equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of IT assets, tracking equipment assignments, and managing asset lifecycle.
  • Develop and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides to facilitate self-service and empower end users.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating patience, professionalism, and effective communication skills.
  • Collaborate with other IT Business Services team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
