Description:

PROVIDE QUALITY SERVICES AND BE AN ACTIVE PARTNER WITH BUSINESSES, COMMUNITIES, AND THE PUBLIC PARTICIPATING IN OR INQUIRING ABOUT COMMERCIAL AND RECREATIONAL FISHING, HUNTING, AGENCY MOBILE APPLICATIONS AND WILDLIFE VIEWING OPPORTUNITIES.

These positions will be the subject matter experts on end user basic use of the agency adopted software. They will also be required to document and report any inconsistencies or errors in the customer profile, sales process, or licensing system.

This is an opportunity to utilize WDFW fishing and hunting pamphlets, WDFW website, rules, and regulations to address customer inquiries regarding special hunt, raffles, multi-season, and incentive drawing purchases.
In this dynamic role, you will provide information about recreational sales and miscellaneous items orders, rules, regulations, refunds, or other general questions regarding use of recreational documents and licensing related activities.
We are seeking candidates to assist existing high-level workgroups in the agency with designing, developing, and enhancing web applications through Quality Assurance testing on existing testing scripts.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND QUALITY ASSURANCE:

  • Assists in requirements gathering for the development and maintenance of Agency web and mobile technologies and customer support processes.
  • Performs user acceptance testing for web and mobile testing.
  • Uses the Washington Interactive Licensing Database (WILD) system and associated applications to complete timely updates, corrections, and maintenance of quality customer profiles.
  • Completes data updates to customer profiles routinely using information obtained from customers, and WILD database.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

IN ADDITION TO THOSE REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, OUR IDEAL APPLICANT WILL ALSO HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • One (1) year of experience of mobile technology expertise & resolving customer issues, such as information technology related activities such as testing, installing, maintaining, supporting, and/or averting hardware/software system failures on client applications, hardware and software products, mainframe systems, network infrastructure equipment, or telecommunications software or hardware, or equivalent education/experience.
