Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This position provides first and second-level technical support to staff, students, and faculty for NWP across all affiliated campuses. Weekly travel to Fairview is required. This position is responsible for the end-user and technical support of classrooms, offices, labs, meeting rooms, printers, cell phones and the associated software required. This position is required to support all NWP users with their broad knowledge while maintaining an excellent level of customer service.

The successful candidate will have a two-year diploma in Computer Systems Technology, or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a related field. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:

  • proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office applications and installing/supporting various software applications;
  • experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repairs;
  • must be comfortable work from heights and/or in confined spaces;
  • strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • ability to build strong relationships across the organization;
  • valid drivers license and reliable transportation; and
  • a high level of integrity, professionalism and accountability
