Description:
Working at Macro Solutions, a leading provider of IT and management consulting services, is an opportunity to collaborate with great people who have a passion for the services they provide to our clients. We have an immediate need for a Tier III IT Support Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. Secret security clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Performs in-depth analysis, diagnosis and resolution of desktop and workstations.
- Serves as the point of contact for escalated Tier Two troubleshooting of PC h/w and s/w, printer problems and network applications.
- Able to support and backfill Video Teleconference (VTC) and Wireless technician with experience working in both areas.
- Provide support and mentoring to Tier I and II personnel.
- Perform help desk duties to include installation and administration of computer hardware, software and networks.
- Serve as specialist in wireless support, coordinating requirements for wireless assets as requested.
- Plan installations, transitions and cutovers of wireless devices and network components.
- Install, test and operate wireless and data communication network devices.
Experience
- Possess an interim secret clearance.
- Possess active IAT Level II Certification – CompTIA Sec+
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology field.
- 4 years specialized experience in PC and wireless technologies including expert knowledge of PC operating systems, networking and mail standards and experience working with a team in a help desk environment
- Knowledge of PC operating systems, networking and mail standards and experience working with a team in a help desk environment.
- Experience in services of Information Technology assets and NMCI accounts.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate orally and in writing and must have a positive customer service attitude.
