As part of Sustainability the ESG data management is the process of collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting on quantitative data related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects. It involves systematically gathering information and metrics that relates to the company’s performance in areas such as environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance, to meet all the Kemira sustainability stakeholders expectations (internal, customers, investors, regulators).
We are now looking for an Sustainability development manager, IT with a focus on transforming the Kemira sustainability business roadmap to a deployed technology process and solution. With special passion in practical level of data management & governance capabilities and solution architecture in the Kemira ESG domain.
The successful candidate will play a central role in designing, influencing and managing the IT solutions that support the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. The primary duties of this role is to ensure seamless communication between technical teams and the sustainability business stakeholders (e.g. Sourcing, Manufacturing and Supply Chain). While also driving the best practices in managing the collection, storage, and analysis of ESG related data cross the Kemira future-proof ESG application environment, also from best-of breed technology solutions perspective.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR – EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

• Master degree or Bachelor’s degree with work experience in relevant Information Technology or business discipline in a related field.
• 3-5 years working experience with data governance related to sustainability topics
• Experience in some of the most common sustainability software in the market
• Knowledge in sustainability frameworks and standards, especially in
  o CSRD, ESG data expectations(e.g. climate and other environmental data)

o Voluntary reporting frameworks like product carbon footprint, PCF is an advantage

• Strong subject matter acumen with the ability to understand and subsequently align technical solutions with business objectives
• Excellent communication skills in English to gap the bridge between IT solutions and ESG subject matter owners

o transform the ESG business requirements to IT development epics and backlogs for sustainability related IT systems

• Develop and oversee the technology roadmap in the Kemira sustainability domain
• Ensure the overall ESG/Sustainability solution architecture and design of systems are scalable, efficient, and maintainable – in collaboration with the Kemira IT architects
• Orchestrate and oversee a pragmatic data governance process to ensure that the data is accurate, timely and accessible to all ESG stakeholders
• Foster collaboration among analysts, designers, developers and data teams - including external partner

• Demand management for Sustainability
  o Orchestrate the demand capture process for sustainability across the relevant business functions

o transform the ESG business requirements to IT development epics and backlogs for sustainability related IT systems

• Develop and oversee the technology roadmap in the Kemira sustainability domain
• Ensure the overall ESG/Sustainability solution architecture and design of systems are scalable, efficient, and maintainable – in collaboration with the Kemira IT architects
• Orchestrate and oversee a pragmatic data governance process to ensure that the data is accurate, timely and accessible to all ESG stakeholders
• Foster collaboration among analysts, designers, developers and data teams - including external partners
