Description:

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Based in the Multiplex Melbourne Head Office + attending various construction sites in the VIC region, the IT Technical Support Engineer is a customer facing role responsible for providing level 1 to level 3 support for End User Computing hardware, application, and software related issues and recording, prioritising, and tracking service tickets within the Service Management System.
In addition, the IT Technical Support Engineer is involved in new site IT set up and works closely with other service functions within the IT organisation to resolve more complex issues and deliver projects in line with our global IT strategy.
This role is customer focussed and service orientated requiring excellent interpersonal skills and strong dedication to customer service to support both technical and nontechnical personnel at all levels.

The successful Candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills, including:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma of Information Technology or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience as Deskside Support Engineer or similar IT services/support (level 1-3)
  • Proficient in Active Directory, Azure, Intune, Mobile Device Management, Networking (Cisco Meraki) and Windows Server configuration.
  • Experience with setting up site offices and racking infrastructure.
  • Skilled in hardware replacement, imaging, and troubleshooting computers.
  • Proficient in using help desk management tools (Service Now desirable) and remote assistance solutions.
  • Knowledgeable with setting up and troubleshooting AV equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-managed, highly motivated, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Drivers Licence to attend (and deliver assets) to project site offices and construction sites as required.
