This is a temporary fixed-term position that will last for at least 2 years with a possibility of converting to a permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an IT Technician, you play a super important and central role in supporting and empowering the Storytel staff to be productive and have a frictionless workday. The role offers a varied mix of reactive and proactive activities with both straightforward day-to-day tasks and more complex longer term projects and strategic initiatives.
You will have the tools and opportunities to execute meaningful change and have a big impact on ways of working, processes and IT solutions. At Storytel we work exclusively with modern SaaS solutions and the newest technologies, giving you the opportunity to work with exciting IT solutions.
You will have a lot of daily interaction with the Storytel staff and will be a central person at the office. It is therefore important that you like social environments and that you are communicative and caring.
You will have a wide range of responsibilities and to be successful you need to be highly structured, self-initiating and driven - recognizing that success depends on your own actions and dedication

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Troubleshoot and solve a wide variety of IT related problems, handle various requests and support the staff with training sessions, guides and demonstrations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, other departments and vendors and make continuous improvements to our processes and systems
  • Manage IT equipment (Mac and Windows) - procurements, lifecycle management and asset tracking
  • Device Management (MDM & EDR) - Manage Jamf and Intune and create a great end user experience
  • Manage a wide variety of systems, such as Google Workspace, Slack and Microsoft 365
  • Take care of and improve Meeting room technology and other Office IT solutions
  • Make continuous improvements to our on and offboarding processes, streamlining workflows with the focus to create a great user experience for new employees

To be successful in this role we believe that you have

  • Some years of experience in a similar role
  • A genuine interest in technology and an ability to integrate IT solutions that improve the workday experience for our staff
  • Extensive knowledge of both MacOS and Windows
  • A keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and a passion for optimizing processes and to drive continuous improvement
  • Experience in managing/administering systems, preferably including MDM system
