DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Release Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Workday Release Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment of Workday updates and releases, while minimizing business disruption and maximizing user productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to understand their needs and deliver high-quality solutions. If you have a strong background in Workday implementation and release management, along with excellent project management and communication skills, we want to hear from you.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Workday implementation and release management.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Financial Management, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management best practices.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Workday certification is a plus.
This is a remote position
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the release management strategy for Workday updates and releases.
- Coordinate and manage the release schedule, ensuring timely and efficient deployment across multiple environments, including production and test environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define release scope, objectives, and impact.
- Design and implement release processes, including planning, tracking, and reporting on release milestones and deliverables.
- Lead and facilitate release readiness reviews, ensuring all necessary documentation, testing, and approvals are completed.
- Coordinate and conduct release testing, identify defects, and manage their resolution.
- Ensure smooth and efficient communication with end users regarding release schedules, changes, and impacts.
- Continuously improve release management processes and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to end users on new features and enhancements delivered through Workday releases.
