ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically skilled Data Analytics Intern to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and visualization, utilizing leading-edge technologies and tools. The ideal candidate will be passionate about turning data into actionable insights that contribute to our strategic decision-making process.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL…

• Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of data from various sources.
• Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to understand trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI (or equivalent visualization tools) to present insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data analysis needs and provide support.
• Participate in the development of analytics applications using RShiny, Streamlit, or similar platforms to automate data processes and enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Support the data science team in implementing machine learning models, including data preparation, model development, and evaluation.
• Document analytical methodologies and results, ensuring transparency and reproducibility.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED TO …

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Strong skills in Python and/or R programming for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis and its applications in business contexts.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences
• Available for internship period from May to August 2024
