REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certification credentialed from the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the Service Integration and Management (SIAM) team, the ITSM Cross-Functional Lead plays a crucial role in our operational excellence strategy and is responsible for driving business and clinical value from our core ITSM practice. This experienced ITSM practitioner will leverage a strong background in ITIL and IT Service Management to dive deep into process metrics and results to drive improved outcomes across the organization. This cross-functional expertise will also be leveraged to lead key technology forums, such as National CAB (Change Advisory Board) and National Reliability Review meetings. Change management and problem management expertise will be leveraged heavily on a daily basis.

ITSM CROSS-FUNCTIONAL INSIGHTS LEAD ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers key narratives and insights from ITSM and connected enterprise services to all levels of leadership
  • Develops trends and correlates data from all ITSM process area into meaningful, actionable stories to share with key leaders and stakeholders
  • Works with reporting leads in creating stories and themes for data to provide ease of consumption at all levels of leadership and operations
  • Works within ITSM team to improve quality of collected data for each process
  • Stays current with industry trends and best practices to apply learnings to advancement of Ascension’s ITSM practice
  • Report on opportunities and trends to appropriate technology boards within the Ascension landscape
  • Monitor effectiveness of ITSM governance and propose iterative improvements
  • Initiates Service Improvement Plans/Continuous Improvement efforts as necessary to improve results across any ITSM process
  • Leads National CAB meeting, and directly influences key elements of the CAB process to ensure success
  • Leads National Reliability Review Forum, where critical cross-functional Problems are discussed
  • Evaluates ITSM process execution, key metrics, and results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
