Description:
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Solid knowledge and experience in the development of Java projects; Ideally, you have worked with Java11 or newer
- Degree or equivalent in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable course of study or software development apprenticeship
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
- Familiar with working in a software team and have experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) or have already completed projects on Github
- Experience working with Agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban and Design Thinking
- Very good oral and written English communication skills

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and creative Software Developer to join us here at LucaNet. You will collaborate with our team of talented developers and subject matter experts to design and create cutting-edge financial software solutions that are suitable for our users’ needs. This is a great chance make a direct impact on our product as we as we continue our journey to become a state-of-the-art SaaS CPM provider.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Participate in software design and code reviews
- Technical planning and development of Java-based software solutions or prototypes
- Work in an agile and adaptable cross-functional team to write quality code and units tests
- Continuously collaborate with the business analysts and SMEs to refine and enhance technical requirements based on feedback and changing business needs
- Stay up to date and contribute your knowledge through regular meetups and tech talks
- Bring in your own ideas for continuous improvement of software development processes
