Infor is looking for a backend engineer eager to learn the latest and greatest of enterprise cloud development. You would join Infor Data Fabric development team consisting of experienced senior developers and architects. Infor Data Fabric is a cloud data storage and query platform which provides capabilities to store petabytes of data and subsequent rapid query and analytics capabilities. Infor Data Fabric platform is integrated with Infor Data Lake, gathering big data from Infor business applications, ERP systems and other cloud streams. Data Fabric stores, queries, extracts, and keeps cloud data secure for thousands of customers in real-time. Technologies that the team will help you get experience with include Java, Spring, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS cloud services such as OpenSearch, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis and many more. You will be involved in all aspects of software development and have room to grow professionally.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
As a software engineer, you’re responsible for delivering high-quality software, writing tests, contribute on code reviews and documentation. As part of SDLC, you would also contribute to deployment and automation. To help you with all this, you will work within a multi-disciplinary, agile, development team in close collaboration with other talented software engineers, QA engineers, architects, and business analysts. Your tasks will be determined in coordination with team lead and architects, in agile environment you are encouraged to proactively contribute to the team rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you.

Required skills:

• Solid knowledge of Java development and willingness to learn more

• Problem-solving skills and ability to think constructivelyGood communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Computer Science / Mathematics or similar degree from a technical university, or demonstrable understanding of software development on equivalent level
• Previous experience with Java programming and tooling is a plus (Java 17+ SDK, Git, Maven, Gradle)
• Any experience or knowledge of the following is a plus, be sure to mention them on your CV!
• Cloud services: OpenSearch, Kinesis, AWS S3, AWS Aurora, AWS SQS
• Messaging frameworks: Kafka, Pulsar, SNS, EventBridge
• SQL DBs, NoSQL DBs, GraphQL, Kotlin, Scala, Python
• SOLID programming, pair programming
• Kubernetes deployment, Docker images, Terraform

• Knowledge of Cloud application development is a major plusIf you developed your own application, participated in a hackathon or online programming event, let us know!
