REQUIRED SKILLS

• Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a professional approach, and should be a quick learner.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and rally is required.
• Full Stack developer with knowledge of Property Casualty Insurance domain to develop and support web applications.
• Proficiency in Java programming is necessary.
• Knowledge of J2EE Application Servers, XML, Web Services, MQ series, Bitbucket, Docker, and VSAM is preferred.
• Experience with the following skillset is required:
• Java, Spring, Struts 2.0, JSP, JDBC, Servlets, Log4j, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, JMS, CSS, Ajax, VSAM.
• Demonstrates understanding of customer needs by interpreting them into viable solutions, providing input into system design.
• Reviews and validates application technical design.
• Documents and implements programs according to standards and conventions.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• Experience with ServiceNow or any ticketing system tool is a plus.

Being a strong communicator capable of working across multiple role types in engineering teams is critical.
