YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • You have a computer science or similar qualification : with your background you can reinforce your enthusiasm for IT
  • You have experience with environment and tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, Git or Jenkins
  • Strong expertise in Java and Junit. A plus for us is also your knowledge in Spring, JPA/Hibernate and SQL technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, bothwritten and oral. German skills will be a plus

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

As a Software Engineer with us, you’ll be at the heart of software solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with diverse teams, brainstorming, designing, coding, and refining. Your creativity and technical prowess will shape our projects, ensuring they meet the mark and push boundaries. Alongside coding, you’ll share your expertise and help steer our tech journey. It’s a role where your passion for innovation meets the thrill of teamwork, driving us forward and making an impact every step of the way.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Your focus will be our new Air Logistics System, for which you´ll implement technical components, namely in a modern continuous delivery environment.
  • Take responsibility for quality and long-term maintainability of the developed software.
  • You´ll conduct development test, code reviews and create unit tests and examinations, using tools code and architecture metric, which will be implemented by you.
  • There will be an intensive exchange with our Air Logistics Team, Test and Design Teams, as well as with our nearshore development teams.
  • Build solid knowledge in airfreight logistics business domain
  • Furthermore you´ll analyze and fix Test and Production Errors
  • System maintenance, support of application rollouts and operations
