Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Dust Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and supporting research projects related to dust particles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, organise, and launch standard test projects in the inhouse dust explosion laboratory
  • Participate in the communication of test results to clients
  • Analyze and interpret data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Continuously monitor standard test projects and report any quality, delivery or financial non-conformities
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.
  • Maximise returns on resources used on an ongoing basis in the test laboratory and assist in the pricing and sale of standard testing services
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methods.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Collaborate with team members on research projects and contribute to ongoing studies.
  • Propose improvements to test procedures, and provide feedback on updated procedures and rules described in Gexcon QMS
