We are seeking a professional and reliable person to serve as a Journeyman Electrician. This position is responsible for assisting the Master Electrician in the service and repair of components of fuel dispensing systems, commercial electric installations, and other related systems as directed.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hold or ne able to obtain journeyman electrician license
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Able to pass background check and drug screening

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic electrical knowledge and electronic/mechanical abilities
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds
  • Position requires lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing of ladders
  • Sound integrity and professional ethics
  • Organized and able to complete projects on time

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams, product specifications, installation, and start-up procedures.
  • Select materials and parts required to complete assigned repairs.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely to accomplish the assigned task.
  • Complete assigned tasks quickly, completely, and consistent with guidelines.
  • Protect the property of the company and customer by all reasonable means.
  • Monitor and is accountable for accuracy of parts inventory.
  • Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
  • Install, program, and test new equipment.
  • Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Present self professionally and be prompt when making service calls.
