Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University. A focus on structural engineering is considered an asset.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for general construction methods. Previous field-work experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience or knowledge with design software is considered an asset.
  • Class 5 Drivers License and personal vehicle for out-of-town work as required.
  • Self- motivated with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work with our established team in Saskatchewan under intermediate and senior engineers to complete structural design and construction inspection duties. The work will include structural design in support of our water resources and municipal engineering groups. In general, the successful candidate may be required to complete the following tasks:

  • Perform general project engineering duties under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
  • Work with the project team to prepare technical reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Structural design on infrastructure that may include:
  • Hydraulic Structures
  • Industrial Buildings
  • Steel Structures including; hoist systems, monorail systems, cranes, platforms, railing, etc
  • Provide QA/QC support during construction.
  • Perform construction administration, coordination, and supervision duties.
  • Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.
