This First shift position will be located in our Research and Development Operation. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Operation of waterjet equipment for mechanical test and metallography sample sectioning
  • Specimen heat treatment
  • Performing tensile, stress, creep and hardness testing
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two years of continuous work experience; or 6 months manufacturing experience. All work experience must be post high school.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of lab experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Waterjet operation experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have a desire to learn and collaborative in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with CAD and programing software
