Jr. Paralegal (High Stakes Law Firm - Partial Remote)

In DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN, NYC (Hybrid / Essentially Remote Position): Our client – a well-recognized, leading law firm in investor and consumer rights, securities, antitrust and whistleblower representation – is searching for a Jr. Paralegal / Legal Intake Specialist to support their team on a long-term contract / project basis. The ideal candidate for this role will possess at least three (3+) years of true law firm / legal exposure, including any role which had a high volume of client interaction. Role includes filtering the firm’s end client inquiries, preparing a large volume of claims, analyzing data reports and working with both attorneys and Sr. Paralegal teams to update case workflows. STRONG TECH SKILLS ARE A MUST HAVE for this position (Filesite, MS Word & Excel, etc.) along with ability to quickly learn new litigation support software. • SOLID tech skills (ability to work from home, with viable CPU set up and wifi connection, etc.)
• True Legal knowledge (ability to support Attorneys and Sr. Paralegals in the class action, consumer rights and securities/antitrust areas of law / keep up with the lingo)
• Proven law firm / corporate legal environment exposure
