Our Company is currently searching for a Jr. Recruiter/Account Manager to join our team. We are based out of Toronto, ON, however, this will be a virtual role in which you would be working from home. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a go-getter attitude, above average math skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. This individual will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for assigned positions in its entirety from developing job descriptions, headhunting and candidate screening. You will play a key role, working closely with job seekers, building rapport, understanding their background and skills, and placing them in positions that are a good match for both their interests and the needs of the employer. Preference will be given to candidates with at least a year of recruitment or sales experience.
You would also be expected to liaise with clients to understand their staffing needs and to communicate these requirements to our recruitment team.
Our company is based out of Toronto, ON and this would be a work from home / remote role. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm EST. Should you live in an area outside of eastern standard time, we would expect you to accommodate us.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 1-2 years of recruitment or sales experience. NOTE: we do not consider “Customer Service” roles as Sales!
- Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team based project experience.
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office/Excel/Google Meet
- Must be results driven, able to work on multiple tasks and thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Ability and willingness to write job descriptions. We will not consider candidates who do not like to write. We will not consider candidates who have a “cut and paste” attitude.
- Preference will also be given to those that can demonstrate above average math skills.
- Manage the recruitment process life cycle for assigned positions - from developing and posting job descriptions to candidate on-boarding
- Build and manage a network of technical candidates
- Work with customer hiring managers to gather job requirements and expectations
- Follow up with telephone, email and social media inquiries about our services
- Develop strong relationships with customer hiring managers, business leaders and other business lines.
- Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
- Evaluate candidates to ensure all areas are assessed against appropriate job requirements.
- Work with candidates and clients to obtain signed documentation for all placements
Responsibilities:
- Work with account team to define openings and deliver the best candidates to our clients
Screen and conduct preliminary interviews using behavioural and competency based techniques to present a short list of candidates for further interviewing by client
Manage the recruitment process life cycle for assigned positions - from developing and posting job descriptions to candidate on-boarding
Build and manage a network of technical candidates
