Our client in Peel Region is actively looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team.
Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Peel Region, ON

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliation and analysis
  • Inventory analysis and reconciliation
  • Income statement analysis
  • Support the accounting team with additional month end duties
  • Back up to accounts payable as required

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Must have experience with reconciling multiple bank accounts including foreign currency
  • Previous experience working on large erp systems ( sap, oracle, ms dynamics )
  • Advanced level excel skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
