Junior Accountant

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, verifying expenses, and managing customer payments.
• Prepare and file tax documents, such as sales tax returns and payroll tax filings, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in cash balances.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing data analysis and support to the finance team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper accounting of transactions and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
