Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our growing team based in Germany (ideally Düsseldorf). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the financial systems and our German offices. This role will involve the transition from external bookkeeping to internal bookkeeping and the implementation of the Odoo accounting platform. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance and optimisation of our financial processes to support the continued growth and success of our growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a strong support account role to the Senior Management Accountant in Germany.
Receive and post invoices,
Validate invoices against Purchase Orders,
Making supplier payments and communicate with suppliers,
Managing the einkauf inbox, bank account management and reconciliations.
Your role will expand over time to include:
Assisting in monthly accounting procedures for 4 operating companies in Germany.
Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Assisting with the implementing and maintaining the Odoo accounting platform to streamline financial workflows and improve efficiency.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations and regulators, to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
