QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary degree or certificate in accounting;
- Experience with Sage 300 Construction is an asset;
- Current enrolment or intention to enrol in the CPA program is preferred;
- Proficiency in the use of software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing;
- Candidates should have good knowledge of accounting principals and practices;
- Good communications skills, both verbal and written;
- Good organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to work with confidential material and maintain high standards of ethical conduct.

Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY:
This Junior Accounting Clerk and Administrative Assistant role carries out various accounting functions
and provides support to the Project Accounting Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collecting and sorting invoices, Statutory Declarations and WCB Clearance Letters;
- Obtaining invoice approvals and working with Accounts Payable in getting payment ready in atimely manner;
- Preparing invoice summary coversheets for vendors and projects;
- Review and reconcile invoices against commitments and contracts, purchase orders, changeorders and review expense reports;
- Liaising with vendors to correct billing errors and following up on outstanding documents;
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining financialdatabases;
- Assisting the Project Accounting team with any ad-hoc tasks.
