    At Tennis Queensland we are passionate about what we do, and we have ambitious plans to continue to grow our game from grassroots through to Grand Slams. We are looking for a Junior Accounts Administrator to join our team at the QTC on a full time basis.
    About the role

This position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the accounts relating to the QTC Tennis business. This includes tennis programs, events, functions and includes banking and reporting on financial position. It also supports the customer service team and assisting customers with all enquiries and serving from the front counter.

  • Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Create settlements in Workday to be submitted for payment approval.
  • Maintain creditor/ vendor bank records and ensure that any payment returns (if any) are accounted for.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service, via phone, email and face-to-face.
  • Ensure front of house areas, including the pro shop, front counter and cafe are always presentable.
  • Assist customers with the sale of merchandise and apparel in the Pro Shop.

About you

  • Knowledge of internal control administration for accounts payable highly desirable.
  • Ability to establish, organise and maintain files and effectively retrieve data.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting systems and experience in applying this knowledge.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service Experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Blue Card (Police Check) and Working with Children Check.
