Description:

Are you passionate about financial markets and sustainability? Do you thrive in a team environment? Are you eager to advise some of Norway’s largest and most complex corporations on capital structure, acquisition capacity, funding strategy, financial risks and sustainability? Danske Bank is seeking an Analyst with a strong analytical skillset to join our Corporate & Sustainability Advisory team at our office at Aker Brygge in Oslo.

WHO WE ARE:

Organizationally the Corporate & Sustainability Advisory team is placed in Sustainable Finance in Corporate & Institutional Banking.
We work as a strategic and analytical partner to a broad range of clients in Norway, including some of the largest corporations, advising clients on capital structure, funding strategy, debt capacity, credit rating, financial risks, and sustainability.
Our team currently consists of three dedicated full-time employees. In collaboration with other units, such as loan and debt capital markets, Fixed Income & Currencies, and corporate finance, we deliver tailormade financial solutions to clients.
We operate in a result-oriented environment, requiring a high level of expertise and integrity, and occasionally a flexible approach to workload.

Responsibilities:

We’re offering a unique opportunity for you to rapidly learn and gain broad exposure to financial markets and sustainability.
You will assume responsibility from day one, which will grow as you enhance your skills. You will work closely with senior colleagues on projects and assist in creating client pitches based on your data gathering, analysis, and findings.
In your role will focus on sustainability and ESG, which represent both risks and opportunities for many corporates. In addition, capital structure, debt capacity, funding strategy and financial risk management are areas you will cover in your role.
You will be responsible for tools and models we use for analysis, with the chance to further develop and improve our setup.
Our team works closely with our sister teams in other Nordic countries, and you will be part of a Nordic network of young analysts in the bank.
