Due to growth, we are looking for a Junior/Assistant Accountant to join this leading financial services organisation based in the CBD. Working closely with two experienced Accountants your role will be varied within this Commercial business. The role involves reconciliations, analysis and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Trust payment entry and weekly reconciliations
- Preparation of accurate and supported month end journals
- Prepare and complete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations for key GL accounts.
- Month end and quarterly reporting
- Daily trust payment transaction entry
- Prepare accurate weekly and ad-hoc invoices.
- Cash flow preparation.
- AP & Assisting AR
- Be an integral part of internal control procedures.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Accounting graduate ideally with 2+ years accounting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - strong customer service skills to liaise with customers
- High attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and pro-active attitude
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Organised and able to multitask/work well under pressure.
- Excellent customer service and client building skills.
- Strong Excel skills
You will ideally have commenced, enrolled or intend to enrol in a CA/CPA course.
