Description:
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Partner with business and technology partners to elicit, analyse, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements and solution designs.
- Analyse, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
- Partner with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing.
- Working as part of a team, you will liaise with the business, project managers and other analysts to deliver efficiencies and improvements to help drive excellence within the business.
- Working closely with all areas of the business and IT .
- Models and cultivates behaviours that achieve business success, including collaboration, accountability, and ownership.
- Deliver innovating configuration and workflow solutions to the main business applications to drive efficiency and success.
- Adhere to Quality Management guidelines, as directed, in line with the framework of ISO 9001.
- Ensure own H&S, and that of colleagues by complying with both legal and policy requirements.
- Highlight to the line manager any concerns regarding conflicting duties or areas of responsibility.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong analytical skills applied to understanding business functionality and translating them into requirements.
- Ability to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
- Understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
- Demonstrated experience in writing software requirements and test specifications.
- Relentless commitment to authentic relationships and continuous improvement of those relationships, at all levels both within the business and external partners.
- Experience of business analysis and business process improvement is desirable.
- Proven experience of working in a matrix management environment would be beneficial.
- Very good communications skills – both written and spoken.
- Experience and demonstrable examples of improving service to the business.
- Excellent experience of process design and improvement.
- Strong business and customer focus.
