Description:

Location: Munich, Germany;
As a (Junior) Business Analyst (m/f/d) for BestSecret, you will play an integral role in contributing to the overall company strategy, particularly within the Retail business unit that is responsible for all retail stores in Germany and Austria. Leveraging your analytical skills, you will dive into the analysis to uncover insights that strengthen marketing strategies and boost the engagement of our customers. Your planning excellence and analytical thinking will enable you to thrive in the fast-paced and evolving retail business environment. Flexibility, collaboration, “work smart, not hard” mentality and commercial acumen will drive your success in this role.
This is a permanent role on a full-time basis with remote working as an option.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in customer and/or campaign data analysis, preferably in a B2C environment
  • A degree in business administration, business informatics, social sciences, psychology, or statistics
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Power Pivot), experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus
  • Proactiveness, high level of responsibility, and ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
  • Openness and interest in exploring new concepts and technologies
  • Advanced both German and English skills (at least B2)

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze ongoing marketing activities to generate actionable insights for enhancing future marketing strategies in the context of business and financial development
  • Regular Reporting of Key CRM Metrics: Generate and present regular reports on essential CRM key performance indicators, such as customer acquisition, churn rate, purchase frequency, and other behavioral patterns
  • Strategic Customer Base Analysis: Develop and implement a strategic framework for analyzing the customer base in alignment with the business unit’s objectives, including segmentation and retention strategies
  • Campaign Management and Ad-hoc Analysis: Manage curated campaign customer selections and address ad-hoc analysis requests to support ongoing marketing initiatives and decision-making processes
