Description:

Based in our headquarter office in Carpi, Modena (Italy) we’re looking for a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Digital Team.
As a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for evolving, designing, developing, and maintaining the business intelligence solutions for our company.
Your role responsibility includes the extraction, modelling, management of large volumes of data and the creation as well as the maintenance of dashboards and analysis for users.
You will work closely with our data engineers, data scientists and business consultants to provide effective and innovative solutions that support Champion Europe business strategic decisions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Statistics, or related disciplines.
  • Experience of at least 5-7 years in the role of Business Intelligence Analyst or similar.
  • Full proficiency in PowerBI (especially backend, but also frontend).
  • Excellent knowledge of Azure Synapse and DAX.
  • Knowledge of SQL language and Oracle database.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively and solve problems.
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Report Builder is considered a plus.
  • Experience in the fashion industry or interest in the sector is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) DataSphere and SAC or QLIK.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports (both frontend and backend).
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in the dashboards.
  • Train end-users on how to use the dashboards and reports effectively.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices.
  • Produce technical documentation and user guides.
