Description:
What’s coming up for you?
- Support in logistic process optimization and cost saving projects (within procurement and distribution logistics)
- Preparation of potential analyses at our customers to identify optimization needs
- Support in international freight purchasing for all modes of transport (especially road) and in negotiating contracts
- Execution of tender management with electronic tendering tools as well as preparation of direct negotiations
- Preparation and evaluation of mass data
- Preparation of RFQ’s (Request for Quotations), SOP’s (Standard Operational Procedures) and support in operational implementations
- Preparation of customer presentations
What should you bring with you?
- Completed studies with a focus on transport and logistics or comparable training
- Experience in purchasing logistic services or in tender management ( >2 years)
- Very good MS Office skills (Excel and Powerpoint)
- First knowledge in freight tender tools, especially Ticontract desirable
- Good written and spoken English
- Independence, readiness for action and a distinctive ability to work in a team
- Hands-on mentality
- A good sense of humor
