What’s coming up for you?

• Support in logistic process optimization and cost saving projects (within procurement and distribution logistics)
• Preparation of potential analyses at our customers to identify optimization needs
• Support in international freight purchasing for all modes of transport (especially road) and in negotiating contracts
• Execution of tender management with electronic tendering tools as well as preparation of direct negotiations
• Preparation and evaluation of mass data
• Preparation of RFQ’s (Request for Quotations), SOP’s (Standard Operational Procedures) and support in operational implementations
• Preparation of customer presentations

What should you bring with you?

• Completed studies with a focus on transport and logistics or comparable training
• Experience in purchasing logistic services or in tender management ( >2 years)
• Very good MS Office skills (Excel and Powerpoint)
• First knowledge in freight tender tools, especially Ticontract desirable
• Good written and spoken English
• Independence, readiness for action and a distinctive ability to work in a team
• Hands-on mentality
• A good sense of humor
