Description:
JOB OVERVIEW
The post holder will complement existing services in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department. The post holder is required to have full registration with the General Medical Council, a valid licence to practise and have completed foundation training or equivalent. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and develop a range of skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Responsibilities:
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
The post holder with be responsible, under the supervision of the consultant, for the day-to-day care of elective and emergency patients.
The post holder will work and liaise with the colleagues across the multidisciplinary team to ensure an appropriate, professional and timely provision of care to patients.
Opportunities to work with a Consultant will be provided to ensure on-going requirements for professional development and education. You will have regular appraisal with help to build your own portfolio. You will be encouraged to participate with other team members in audit and ongoing research in the department
