This post is intended to offer Emergency Department experience and an opportunity for the post holderto improve their skills in dealing with acutely unwell children and adults as well as working in the fullyintegrated Urgent Treatment Centre.General ResponsibilitiesAssessment and management of patients the Paediatric Emergency Department including the: Acutely unwell children - medical and surgical emergenciesResuscitation: in Two Paediatric Resus bays and HDU bay in Paeds EDMinor injuries, minor illnesses UTC streamParticipate in monthly clinical governance meetingsParticipate in the departmental active audit programmeHelp supervise and teach medcial studentsAttend morning handover at 8am if starting at 8amAttend board rounds at 11am and 3pm when on shiftWork collaboratively with our multidisciplinary tea
