DESCRIPTION

Credit Risk Data Control team offers that opportunity by being in the “middle” of Credit Risk department of Morgan Stanley and playing a pivotal role in credit risk analysis, limits monitoring, reporting and process change management.

You will:
- Understand credit risk, credit risk management processes and procedures, credit risk systems and credit data flow
- Run, enhance and implement credit data quality control processes
- Support credit professionals in the monitoring of Morgan Stanley’s credit exposure against pre-defined policy limits
- Assist the team in meeting Regulatory Reporting requirements such as BIS and CCAR
- Maintain an ongoing dialogue and act as a liaison between Credit Department, IT and Business Units in resolving identified data quality issues
QUALIFICATIONS
You have:
- Interest in risk management and finance involving data analysis and process management
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering related areas
- Self motivator and team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage dynamic priorities with attention to details and ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Good proficiency with SQL and/or VBA and/or Microsoft Office is a plus (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Team Profile:
The Credit Risk Data Control, comprised of ~15 employees in Budapest, and colleagues in the New York and Mumbai office, plays a pivotal role in credit risk analysis and limits monitoring of the Credit Risk Department in Morgan Stanley. The team is also responsible for credit data management, credit policy/procedure implementation, portfolio and single name monitoring and process change management.
