Responsibilities:
You will join a newly established team of skilled and engaged colleagues of different seniority with the shared goal of developing and maintaining robust data platforms aligned with the VELUX data strategy.
You will work closely with the more experienced Data Engineers and continuously learn from them. You will be working on a completely new Data Platform with the most modern technologies that is built around Snowflake and dbt Cloud. Your main focus will be to assist the team in building and maintaining the data infrastructure, data flow and loading processes critical for data-driven initiatives. You will be responsible for data engineering tasks contributing to the team’s overall goal.
Your tasks will include:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines with e.g. data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Support data quality controls, data validation, testing, and monitoring to maintain data accuracy and reliability
- Participate in resolving technical issues and challenges within the data pipeline
- Collaborate with the team on data projects and help data scientists and analysts in delivering clean, well-structured data for analysis
- Participate in the exploration and integration of new data technologies and tools, contributing to the enhancement of data infrastructure in line with team priorities
- Contribute to maintaining documentation of data pipelines and processes
You will be part of a global organisation and an international team and will be based at Head Office in Hørsholm. We utilise our available technology to work virtually and flexible but you can expect some travelling.
