EY Real Estate is responsible for a number of services including property acquisition, disposal, refurbishments and relocations of offices, as well as management of all capital projects related to Real Estate. We are looking for a Designer to join Real Estate Services team. The Workplace Design Associate will support the Design team with all the Design & Projects activities related to the EY workplace Design Guidelines as well any design related Frameworks (existing or future).

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

  • Post-graduate in Architecture or Interior Design. Any extra education interior design or workplace related will be an asset.
  • 2+ years professional experience in a design related role including workspace planning and /or workplace strategy.
  • Strong English communication skills (oral/ written) Minimum C1 – level English required.
  • Strong commitment skills and ability to work on multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and work in an international team.
  • Knowledge of workspace planning principles as well as interior design elements that create impact in the office space.
  • Understanding of fit-out office principles and space refurbishment.
  • Enthusiastic, committed and determined.
  • Software tools use: 2D and 3D Modelling and rendering skills: Preferably AutoCAD, Revit or Sketchup Pro.
  • Ability to prepare succinct PowerPoint presentations, excellent understanding of MS Excel and modelling.

Responsibilities:

The Workplace Design Associate will support the Design & Projects team in a number of activities including but not limited to the following:

  • Provide support in upcoming projects and initiatives creating test fits, workplace strategy briefs and high-level concepts for stakeholder presentations and architect briefing.
  • Develop testfits plus the space programming and project brief for the architects onboarding.
  • Develop design standards materials for EY Global Design Guidelines Portal update.
  • Edit templates for architectural, furniture & carpet frameworks as well as any other design related frameworks that EY will enter.
  • Benchmark projects in terms of space programming and manage a database of completed projects photos and design information.
  • Prepare reports as required specially for wellbeing, inclusive design and sustainability.
  • Support the team with reporting activities and managing access to relevant EY resources.
