POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Junior Editor & Videographer Assistant to support our award-winning team. This role is ideal for a post-graduate or a highly enthusiastic self-starter with a keen interest in video editing and production. You will collaborate with experienced content producers and creatives, gaining hands-on experience in video editing, post-production, and production support.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated interest in video editing and videography, with examples of relevant work (academic projects, independent creations, or portfolio pieces).
  • Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of producing videos for various device sizes and social channels (Reels, Stories, Square format).
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to handle repetitive tasks, understanding our growing business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in editing (and filming) various video content including: interviews, social media content, educational materials and podcasts, delivering high-quality videos in line with Storm’s standards and target B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Support sourcing and integrating high-quality footage, music, and animations.
  • Help with post-production tasks such as colour balancing, audio, pacing, and subtitling.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to align on project visions and objectives.
  • Organise and maintain a library of video assets and project files.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, video editing software, and emerging technologies to improve skills.
  • Support production tasks such as camera operation and lighting setup for new studio projects.
