Job Summary
Junior EHS Advisor
Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.
The Junior Environment Health & Safety Advisor will be based in Dundalk (Ireland), reporting to the EHS Manager.
In charge of developing, implementing, and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations - accident-free, healthy work.
The Junior EHS Advisor role is an entry level position - perfect to start your career in EHS.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Consult with departments on equipment design and safety programs;
  • Review plans for new machinery to ensure safety precautions are included;
  • Inspect plant for hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations;
  • Define safety requirements and install safety devices on machinery;
  • Conduct safety training for workers;
  • Investigate and report industrial accidents;
  • Test air quality for harmful substances;
  • Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions;
  • Provide internal consultation on various safety matters;
  • Audit business units;
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and engineers;
  • Compile and submit safety reports.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Degree in Engineering, Environment or Health Sciences OR equivalent experience OR NEBOSH level 5 certification;
  • 1-2 years experience in EHS is a plus but we welcome candidates starting their career;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to organise own workload and use initiative;
  • Eligible to work in Ireland (EU).
