We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior EHS Advisor to join Suir Engineering. This position will be based on a Pharma project in Castletroy, Limerick

Overall Role Objective
The Junior EHS Advisor is an integrated part of the Project Team and is responsible for providing specialist advise and support on all matters relating to the Environment, Health, Safety and Welfare of site personnel. The Junior EHS Advisor will become a Subject Matter Expert on Suir’s Integrated Management System and ensure its effective implementation on site.
What you will be doing?
Assist the Group EHS Manager in achieving Suir’s Critical Success Factor 1. ‘To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation’.
Become familiar with the site induction process and delivery of same.
Shadow the Senior EHS Advisor until trained and competent to take on EHS responsibilities.
Become familiar with the Flex system and how to apply the various functions effectively to your project.
Assist the Senior EHS Advisor with the SOR process and ensure it is effective on site.
Train as a Working at Height Instructor and assist with the inspections of ladders, harnesses, lanyards etc.
Become familiar with Suir’s Integrated Management System and how to effectively implement the IMS on sites.
Assist the Senior EHS Advisor with incident investigation and management.
Assist the Senior EHS Advisor with the coordination and administration of all EHS process and procedures.
Become familiar with and promote the ‘Suir Way’ and its interfaces with EHS.
Conduct a weekly EHS Audit of the site under the guidance of the Senior EHS Advisor
Is this the job for me?
You must have a Minimum of a Level 7 Degree in EHS.
Good communication skills and good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Ability to fit into a team structure.
Enthusiastic attitude and genuine interest in the Construction Industry
Be dynamic and ambitious to succeed within the organisation.
