Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Junior End User Compute Technician, you will be working in a customer focused, high performing IT Operations team, responsible for end user computing services for Foodstuffs North Island Support Centres and Distribution Centres. This includes hardware and software support across a range of end user devices and meeting rooms.
Through the role you will be fronting our Landing Drive Solutions Desk, providing IT support to a wide range of users with different capabilities and needs. This includes:
- Providing level 1/2 IT support for users based in the Landing Drive Support Centres and Distribution Centres
- Managing Hardware requests for new and existing users
- Assisting remote support teams with requests and incident resolution.
- Being the customer champion for their IT needs
With communication skills second to none you will be able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at a range of differing levels. You will also have strong experience in an IT User Support role, where you have gained technical working experience of the following:
- Experience in customer facing support
- Knowledge of new and emerging End User technology
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
- Able to understand, deliver and improve services which are critical to Foodstuffs users
- Great attitude and communication skill
