Description:

  • OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOBTo manage technical services and engineering across key client sites (South Dublin).Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage scheduled and reactive maintenance as required.
  • Ensure all valid vendors invoices have purchase orders issued and then approved for payment.
  • Manage technical budgets for relevant sites.
  • Report to client as required.
  • Act as lead on all technical services projects and support where required through TFM contract.
  • Act as client Facilities and MEP go to expert for the account, with support from engineering manager.
  • Be the main point of contact for the building services systems for the account, and be knowledgeable in their operation on behalf of the client, such as BMS, power distribution, HVAC etc.
  • Provide assistance for other projects within the team, to ensure all areas on TFM are successful.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Professional certification in facilities management or engineering (e.g., CFM, CEM) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or engineering, preferably in a technical services role.
  • Experience managing technical services and engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing both scheduled and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Proven track record in managing technical budgets and financial responsibilities.
  • Experience in presenting technical reports to clients and providing value-added solutions.
  • Familiarity with building management systems (BMS), power distribution, HVAC systems, etc.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of technicians or engineers.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for maintenance management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
