REQUIREMENTS:

- Previous experience in a finance-related role.
- Considering or currently studying for an accounting qualification such as AAT or ACCA.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong IT and systems skills.

- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Base salary: £26,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to join our small but mighty finance team. You’ll work alongside our Finance Director and Finance Manager, providing essential support and contributing to the smooth running of our financial operations. We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Finance Assistant to help us manage our financial administration and employee communications.

IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL..
- Keep Things Running: Support the preparation of monthly accounts and processing of employee expenses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage our finance inbox and upload supplier invoices to our system
- Undertake daily bank reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of accruals, prepayments and other monthly journal entries
Champion Administrative Support: Provide professional and timely administrative support to ensure our financial operations run smoothly. This will include assisting with Credit Control by tracking invoices becoming due and managing reminders and escalations.
- Be a Problem Solver: Handle ad-hoc queries from across the business, providing quick and efficient solutions to various financial and administrative challenges. You’ll be taking care of questions and queries from the team and the wider company.
Location: this role is Hybrid from out London Office
