Junior Finance Assistant!
Responsibilities:
CARE Canada is looking for a detail oriented and ambitious individual, aged 15-30, to join our finance team this summer! As the Junior Finance Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Manager of Financial Services, supporting various corporate finance endeavors. If you’re eager to grow your career in finance, this role is for you!
The overall responsibilities will include:
- Reconciliation of accounts and processing entries for the audit working papers.
- Performing monthly reconciliations and required processing entries
- Creating and updating policies and procedure documentation.
- Organizing virtual filing system.
- Processing travel claims in line with organizational policies
- Assisting in the preparation of existing reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Building new reports or making amendments to existing ones.
- Documenting procedures and guidelines for budgeting and reporting tasks.
- Exploring and leveraging technology tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
