Responsibilities:

WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT FOR THIS ROLE?

You are a team-oriented person who can assist the Information Technology branch in the support for technology infrastructure by providing operational and technical support.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide operational and technical infrastructure support of new and enhanced systems, sub systems and services
  • Provide two tier support to systems and/or applications and provide assistance to end users by identifying any production issues
  • Log, triage and draft responses to service requests and incidents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Assist in developing code to automate processes, including monitoring, logging and infrastructure as code
  • Provide configuration support of cloud infrastructure and ensure connectivity of all types of workstation operating systems used by MPAC
  • Assist in building new servers and deploying software to the new server in a cloud environment
  • In collaboration with the IT team, perform troubleshooting, issues resolution and support to front line staff in their daily use of technology and systems
  • Provide support in User Maintenance (setup/move/remove computers, monitors, audio/visual, mobility) and with the installation/upgrading/uninstallation of software
  • Apply and follow MPAC’s security best practices
