Description:

Join our team at a rapidly growing international e-commerce company! We are on the lookout for a motivated and dynamic Junior IT License Manager (m/f/d) to support our license management (Cologne/ Sevenum/ Remote). This position offers a unique opportunity to oversee the entire project life cycle and assume responsibility for IT License Management at Redcare Pharmacy. Essentially, you will be tasked with establishing the framework and guiding the direction of our license management practices.
In this role, you will join our IT Service department, predominantly located in Sevenum, and collaborate closely with both the IT Service Team and the IT Operations & Infrastructure Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a vital member of our IT Service Department, you will be managing and optimizing the software license lifecycle in collaboration with various departments.
  • You will be supporting in the maintenance of the license compliance status of our software, participating in internal and vendor audits as needed.
  • You will be consulting other department on license-related queries and issues, both within and external to the IT team.
  • You are contributing to the development of reports and metrics that reflect license usage and compliance.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Higher education related to computer science, business informatics, business administration, etc.
  • Experience or advanced knowledge of contract management and IT License management is beneficial.
  • Experience in working with software license management tools such as Snow or any similar software.
  • Familiarity with current license models of major software manufacturers is advantageous, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft enterprise licensing.
  • Knowledge of IT standards and practices like ITIL or COBIT is a plus.
  • Fluency in both German and English languages is preferred.
  • You are an organized, adaptable team player with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
