SUMMARY STATEMENT

Global IT is the central partner of the global Ottobock business - we see ourselves as an enabler and provide the entire portfolio of infrastructure and applications to make the business even more successful. In the role of IT Project Manager Officer, you will manage our programs and projects from the PMO, supporting all project owners in the context of implementing the Ottobock IT strategy. Possible work locations are Berlin, Duderstadt or remote within Germany.
The position is a parental leave replacement and is limited to 1,5 years.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have a successfully completed degree in the field of business or a completed apprenticeship in the commercial field
  • You have experience in Project Management Office (PMO) and project management incl. project management tools (MS Project, Jira, or similar)
  • Experience in controlling as well as previous knowledge in project management standards and their quality assurance are an advantage
  • Analytical and strategic skills as well as problem-solving ability and initiative characterize you as well as
  • Strong communication and change management skills
  • You are confident in using Microsoft Office packages
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills

Responsibilities:

  • Management of medium to large (multiple) projects up to the management of programs or multiple projects with different departments or project stakeholders involved (including integration of suppliers)
  • Supporting IT management and IT project managers in creating and updating project plans and incorporating change requests
  • Implementation and optimization of administrative project and program management activities
  • Creation of status reports and target/actual comparisons
  • Managing to-do lists, risk/problem analyses and change management processes
  • Responsible for creating documents for status meetings, project/program management meetings, management reports, internal communication
  • Contact person for the whole team - you take over an advisory function in case of problems in projects/programs
  • Development and standardization of methods, processes & templates
