We are looking for a Junior Java Developer to work on a product that tracks the investment life cycle and optimizes costs in the field of telecommunication.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- B Sc./M.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field
- 0-2 years of experience in Java development and familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot
- Understanding of the basics and operation of relational database management systems (MySQL)
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency Linux/Unix skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS AND EXPERIENCE
- Familiarity with Angular
- Understanding of JIRA or a similar ticketing system
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Responsibilities:
- Participate in development projects and provide solutions based on specifications.
- Solve complex problems in collaboration with colleagues in Budapest and remote teams.
- Consultancy and expertise on the solution provided to other technical groups.
- Research fundamental problems and implement algorithms / solutions.
- Take responsibility for testing tasks as well.
- Collaborate with a cross functional development team following the Scrum methodology.
- Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
