Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Law Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent research and writing skills, and a passion for the practice of law. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience, work closely with experienced attorneys, and contribute to the success of our clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Passed the Bar Exam
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.
- Responsible for the management of clients’ files from inception to close.
- With the assistance of senior counsel will create own book of business.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Assist senior attorneys in case preparation and management.
- Attend client meetings, hearings, and court proceedings as needed.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm’s practice areas.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and insights.
- Perform administrative tasks related to casework and firm operations.
